so im new to braided line do you guys use leaders on all your reels with braided line? do you use braid fishing soft plastics?

its all preference, some lures i have a leader with the braid, and some i dont.  just depends on what you like best.

also for soft plastic i use flurocarbon, some people dont like using it but i do.

I use a leader 90% of the time I'm fishing with braid. Only time I don't feel it's necessary is in heavy weeds or stained water, but my waters are cristal clear most of the time (you can count pebles in 8-10 ft of water)

I use flouro leader with all my braid applications.  Using the Alberto knot really helps also.

you can use what ever you want between 6-25 lb. flouro , a uni-to-uni or an alberto knot will allow for different size diameters . i use 30 lb. braid alot and vary my co-poly or flouro lines between 10-20 lbs. and i use the uni-to-uni knot .
