Has anybody used the drop shot series of this rod? Looks like a nice one, just wondering how specific it is. I would like to use it as an all around light line rod (ie drop shot, light jig heads, shakey head...that sorta thing).

Anybody have any input?

I bought one and have used it twice, so far. It is an excellent drop-shot rod.

After the two outings I have some doubts that it would be much good for anything else.

I probably shouldn't say that because I haven't tried it for anything else. But, that titanium tip is super sensitive, and super fast. But, it is also very, very soft.

I intend to try it for wacky rigging small baits. It might be good for that. Might not.

I will eventually try it out for the smallest and lightest applications.

I assume you're asking because *** has them on sale for about half price. Great deal, if you need a dedicated drop shot rod.
