Flipping stick?

Featured Replies

For me I use a powell 7' heavy.  Not much cover where i fish.  Check out Powell's 7' mag heavy or their flipping stick line of rods.

If you are talking about a true flipping stick, Lamiglas Certified Pro XFT806.  If you mean flippin and or pitchin, XFT764 hands down.  These rods have a shorter rear handle section than most rods and if you fish in weather that requires rain gear or heavy coats you don't have the handle catching the coat problem.

I use a G loomis FSR 904x and a Quantum PT superlight 7'11". Detween both of these rods i can cover all applications of flipping/pitching, weather it is heavy punching matts of flippin saw grass. They both are also very good for heavier applications such as swimbait, Carolina rigging, 1oz spinnerbaits.
