Mend it for Flukes?

Featured Replies

Yep, I used it to fix soft plastic flukes and swimbait heads when I was using a twist lock hook.  Just gotta be careful when you're opening the rip to drop the Mend it in.  If you're spreading the tear out too hard the mend it can cause it to rip entirely.  I just spread open gently, put a drop in, and  squeeze gently for 10 seconds or so and let it sit to dry...fully usable in an hour or less! great stuff =D

LBH,

I just got a bottle of Mendi-It last week.  I just tore a Super Fluke at the nose and tried to fix it.  I was able to fix it but I also screwed it up worse first!  If you pull the two halves apart and put the drop on the plastic, the Mend-It will cut through the two peices like a knife.  I was able to fix it after a few tries.  It is a soft bond unlike fish glue which is a hard bond.
