Another rod/reel Q

Featured Replies

I am short on money and have not fished in a while but i am ready to start again. I have around 100$ to spend give or take a few and i need a good spinning set up. Mainly soft baits but more of an all around set up until a can get a couple more. I saw BPS has the browning medallion GT rod and reel combo for 109$? Any input on that would be nice on what you think would be good for my situation.

I saw the sedona for 59$ and maybe a bionic blade with it. Just lookin for input thanks.

If I had $100 give or take I'd try the sedona on a lightning rod.  I believe the lightning rod is about the same $ as the sedona.  I personally don't have a LR but my cousin and my father do.  They are very avid bass fisherman but won't spend a lot of $ on set-ups.  They both have told me that the LR is easily one of the best rods under a $100 for the $.  Actually my cousin said he found his for like $45. ;)
