Dont know, never fished them.

The trophy series are $219 and there are dozens of well known and proven rods in that price range.

The elite series are $329 but for a few bucks more you could get a G.Loomis GLX.

    I think you did right asking before buying. I personally can't afford to drop that kind of money on a rod (or anything else) without first knowing that I will be getting my moneys worth. Let others be the guinea pigs.

    EDIT:  Forgot to mention that I have never heard of these rods so can't be of help.  I agree with the other poster.  Stick with a well known brand name until you know what you are getting.
