i am thinking about get e21 6'9" med power with mod action

is carrot stix good or do you have issues with them?

people have reported issues with the paint chipping, guides grooving from braid and rods snapping. i on the other hand have had no problems with my carrot stick. i have the 7ft crankin' stix and it's a wonderful rod. it can even serve double duty as a spinnerbait rod. 

if i were you i'd look into the 7ft over the 6ft 9

I don't like the guides on any of them except the Micro version. My flipping rods grooved up and so I had to replace the tip on my Gold flipping stix/ Beside that I love my CArrot Stix, but then again I don't have a cranking version.
