Has anyone had experience with Ohero braid, I saw no postings in my search? If so, what is your opinion?

That one looks promising, with a thinner dia than most braid. OHERO 20# braid having a 2# mono diameter where most braid would have an equivalent of 6# mono diameter. I might try it when i need to spool a new reel .

I just got a spool of the 20# multi-color (green/red/yellow). It states "3 lb Dia (0.15mm)"

My first impression is it feels like old technology 4 strand weave which gives it the rough texture like Power Pro has.

I'll test it on some bass tomorrow.

It recommends adding a leader of monfilament or fluorocarbon as a shock tippet and using the uni to uni knot. Also set the drag lighter. "A monofilament backing is required"

edited: after installing it on a reel, there is another color (blue). The spacing of each color is not practical for line visibility since each color is several yards in length before changing to the next color. I wouldn't recommend the multi-color as a replacement for all yellow.

It also felt much like regular Fireline in stiffness.

Some multi color braid changes every 10 metres giving you idea on how much length of line you have out.

Let us know how it compares to other braid specially on castability and strenght.

OK, I used the Ohero Braid today and I don't like it. I caught about 15 bass with it and didn't use a leader with a shakey head. It hangs up on itself coming off the spool on the cast too much regardless of whether it gets tension from fish pulling or just a light jig. I used KVD line conditioner on it after I spooling it on and just before fishing. Like I mentioned earlier, it is ROUGH like Power Pro and stiffer.

The material it is made of is the same as Fireline (Dyneema)

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
