You can walk the dog 3 to 6 inches below the surface.

Runs on top to 24 inches below the water and features a slow-sinking pause and you can walk the dog sub-surface they say . I just read about them in the March issue of In-Fisherman and have my order in for some to try. Has anyone else tried any yet?

I've had one for a little while but not during good top water conditions so I haven't tested them very much. I wish I had the color of the one in the pic you posted. I got one in a yellowish color. I hope to give it a good try when it gets warmer.

x-rap_subwalk_OG.jpg I'm going to try the trying the OG - Olive Green

x-rap_subwalk_S.jpg S - Silver

x-rap_subwalk_MBS.jpg MBS - Moss Black Shiner

Then I can do some slight color changes with some markers to see if it helps. I would think they may do well as it will be a difference from the regular lures the fish have seen.

it seems like when you twitch the rod, the bait would come out of the water, but i'm going to get some and try it. i love to walk the dog

Does *** have them? Also do they make a larger size, other then 3 1/2 inches, thats kind of small as I plan to fish them for striper from the surf.

It wont come out of the water. You would have to pull it real hard and fast to get it to the top.Its made to stay down.

I got one.Like the look and action, but I think its a "sight lure" to be used in clear water or better yet salt water. It doesnt cause the commotion on top as a regular spook type will.

Almost all the water I fish around these parts is pretty stained.

Try it when you know the fish are high in the water collumn, but wont hit a splashy topwater. ;)

The water here on Bull Shoals is very clear with a very slight green tint to it. Water quality is good with underwater visibility of 10 feet or clearer being normal(between 20 to 40 feet is not unusual).
