I did see that the Johnny Morris sig. series is a one day sale  3-11 for $79.97 and the BPS Pro Q is on sale  for $79.97. So what is the better of the two?

The Signature Series is noticeably larger and heavier then the Pro Q.

I would handle both of them before you buy one. I ended up going with the Johnny Morris because it felt more solid to me. I don't see the signature series reels on the basspro website anymore, which is disappointing since I wanted to pick up a third one.

They're in the Spring Classic flyer as a Fri. March 11 "Daily Special", for $79.97

I like the feel of the PQ better.

I have both and find they are both great reels. In fact, I don't notice any performance difference going from the usually more expensive Morris sig series to the PQ. I'd definitely go with the PQ again if they were both at regular price, but if they're the same price I'd say it's a toss up, and a matter of what feels better to you. Go to the store an put them on a rod to see what you like.
