Airrus Tradition rod

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever had problems with the Airrus Traditions spinning rods?  I have had 2 break at the tip, while flipping weeds off a 1/8oz. bait.  This shouldn't happen in my opinion on a fairly expensive rod.  Any opinions?

Well it only took me a year and a half to reply but YES. First let me say that this is one of my favorite rods. I absolutely love fishing it. But I did have a tip break off. When I contacted the company I was able to speak to the main guy himself, or so I was led to believe. Not only did he want me to pay $40 "for shipping and handling" (after paying to ship it to him) to get it replaced he was extremely rude about it. When I pressed him on it he got irate ad went off about everyone wanting something for nothing. I took it back in to the dealer I bought it from and they took good care of me. As I said, I loved the rod, but I hate the company.
