well i started fishin with these at the end of last year and had a few problems. one was that i tried to just slip it on and not peg it but i really really didn't like the fell with it not peged. so i tried to peg it after that and still coudn't fell any more then i would with a regular led weight.so i'm askin if you guys had a certain way of using these weights.

I like them, but to each is his own.  I've heard several on here that don't think there is any advatage to using them.  I think they are harder and can feel the bottome better.  Plus, the smaller size lets them get through the fishes mouth better resulting in more quality hooksets.  Also I like the green color.

However, if you don't like them then save a lot of money and fish something else.

Since you're talking about pegging them, I'm guessing you mainly used them for t-rigs?  If so, I see what you mean.  I don't get a huge advantage either from tungsten in t-rig and dropshots.  I think it's mainly because the weight isn't dragged as much in those applications. I do feel a noticeable difference when carolina rigging though.

If you didn't already know,  tungsten is much better than lead for the waterways in terms of enviromental impact.
