Lake Fork PB!! Thanks Tom

Featured Replies

Well lets try this again. We went to Lake fork the first part of this week to fish with Tom Redington. On our drive down my 16 year old son and I ended up with the flu and a very miserable start to our trip. He missed all of Sundays fishing and I missed 1/2 of the day. The weahter forecasters missed the temps on Saturday by 20' and the weather went down hill from there never giving us the water warm up that we anticipated. However that didn't stop our guide, Tom Redington from taking terrible conditions and making the absoulute best out of bad. He educated us and answered my mirage of questions from graphs, presentations, rod/reels, line and the list goes on. Besides his vast knowledge of fishing and especially fishing on Lake Fork he is one of the most quality individuals I've had the privledge to share 2 1/2 days with. Well lets try this again. I also had the priviledge of having breakfast Monday morning with our own Ringfry from Kansas. Was a pleasure meeting you Jon.

All that being said one of the 9 fish we caught gave me my new PB by 5 oz. Thanks Tom

Thanks Burt,  Not a great one for fork, but it makes some of our nebraska fish look like guppies. :( Sure wish it would have taken my 16 year olds rattle trap.

Hope all is going well for you and your son.  Hope to get back down in the spring.
