I have been there 2 times since the first of the year, most of the lakes and ponds are frozen now,  I fish from the bank, but my brother is getting his boat going.  Has anyone had any luck catching bass (largemouth or striped) from shore?  Fishing is limited to the "warm water arm" most of the time.

I can catch crappie but I want a bass  :'(
