Wiper fishing

Featured Replies

I have a freind whom wants to go Wiper fishing in late summer. Late July or August.

He is looking for a guide to Milford Lake for his son and himself. I don't think that he is really set on Milford but would like to catch some wipers for a two day trip.

I would appreciate any ideas , comments, or recommendations that I may pass on to him.

Thanks, Phil

I would have him call Steve Lytle out at Red Willow Res. in McCook.  You end up paying Steve to fish but he's a great wiper fisherman and will put you on fish.  I have had better guides but not to many better fisherman.  Just my opinion.

Thanks, I'll check it out and pass along the info. RW/I also mentioned Steve and Red Willow to him but it looks like he really would prefer to go to Kansas.
