Don't get excited!  Got there about 8:30 and fished till noon.  Water warmed up to a balmy 42 degrees.  Only fished 3 areas that are decent winter/early spring spots.  I might have had one bump on a fluke in 18' of water.  Water has good color, not too clear and not too murky.  It is at full pool with water running out the overflow by the dam.  

I fished hard and s-l-o-w for the time I was there.  If I had fished any slower, moss would have started to form on my jig, rogue and fluke.  With the way the weather looks, I would guess the water MIGHT be in the mid 40's by next weekend.  I don't care what y'all want to do.  If you want to fish, we'll fish, if you want to postpone it a week or two, that's fine as well.

Thankyou Ringfry for the report. Lets see what happens with everyone else but I'm ready.. The wife and I have taken vacation days so we plan on being there. unless everyone backs out then we will hit the local lake and get some fishing done.

Forecast is for another round of cold weather this week.  Good luck.  I went out today in this wind.  Felt good to be out for the first time this year but a slow bite coupled with very strong winds kinda ruined the day
