Has anybody been to Melvern yet this year? What is the current lake level at? I haven't been there since early 2007 but was thinking about heading over this weekend.

We fished our club tournament at Melvern on Sunday (4/6/08).  It took 10.73 for the win, with about half of the boats catching limits(paper tourney, 12 inch limit).  A lot of fish were caught by dragging jigs, and the fish were right up on the bank.  There were several 15 to 16 inch fish, but none over the lake limit of 18 inches.

The lake officials said that the lake was only half a foot low, but since the last time I was there it appeared to be farther down than that.
