My son moved there and was looking for some bass fishing in the area.

    I get this all the time. Moved to this area 25 years ago. To answer the question. Atchinson has a nice set of no boat lakes around town. North of town is the Atchinson state lake. I've done well there. North west of Atchinson off hwy 36 is Brown County lake very productive for me.

    And if he wants to get off the bank have him PM me we might be able to hook up for some fishing after this heat lets up.
