Lake Jacksonville-Texas lake

Featured Replies

  • Super User

I have a bass club tournament this weekend on this lake. I have been told that it is a boat dock and manmade brushpile pattern with the most popular choices being lures in black-blue(Jigs). Anyone have any other info? I have not been there in 22 years.

Thanks

The grass is gone for the most part.  Wacky rigs, shakey heads, and small crankbaits have produced for a friend of mine lately.  The deeper water docks have been better.  He hasn't had a whole lot of luck on brushpiles this summer but who knows?  I would also c-rig a ring fry or baby brush hog on the points like the one closest to the middle ramp.  :)
