NE OK fishing info needed

Featured Replies

Was fishing Keystone dam a while back when they were running water.  Also have hit a few reservoirs, Gibson, Oolagah, and a few ponds and stuff.  Just wondering where here has been some good action.  Preferably black bass but if there are any decent sandie or crappie spots.  Will be fishing from the bank.  Gibson has shown some promising bass.  Two days ago I pulled about a 4.5lber out of there and my buddie caught a 4.5er and a almost a 6lber.  We were fishing at Taylor's ferry by the marina and docks.  Most of the other fish were in the 2.5 and under range.  Any hints or tips appreciated.  I'm in Tulsa and would prefer not to drive over an hour and a half.

If you are still looking for a good bass lake close to Tulsa than try Bixhoma. It is a small lake with huge fish. You must fish it slow along the points because it gets fished fast all the time. Worms and small jigs with a trailor works best. Lots of brush by the ramp and you will always catch bass here.

I am fishing in a tournament at Ft. Gibson in a couple of weeks do you have any good honey holes you are willing to share with me?
