I posted these in the My Tournament/Outing section, but thought I would re-post here for the Central guys who get down to the Rock.

Fished the Rock last week with several guys, our annual trip/friendly tournament. Total weight for the trip wins. I came in third with 23 lbs 4 oz. Winner (Matt) had 26 lbs. 4 oz, second place (Joe) had 25 lbs 10 oz.

Where did you stay when you were down there? Nice fish by the way!

We stay at Boomerang Resort. It's just west of Indian Point, basically in the first cove as you enter the mouth of Little North Indian. A very basic/inexpensive resort (note: "resort" used loosely). But it suits our needs just fine.

Yea, we fished mostly up Little North Indian and North Indian creeks, and then down past the dam to about Beardsley. Have also gone down to Cow Creek, but not on this trip. The rental boats (which are very inexpensive) only have 50hp motors, so we tend to stay relatively close and stick to places we are familiar with.
