Just keep up on Tom Redington's reports.  I've always found them to be spot on with very little 'guide talk'.  I talked to him one morning while he was waiting for his clients and he was extreamly helpful with telling me where to fish and confirmed my pattern I was on.

1/2 oz. Black Lunker Lure Buzzbait. Fish the points and don't put it down.

Last September Long Mike and I fished a tournament and I had 20+ lbs. on day one. Included an 8.19 and a 10.51 in the day one bag. It's a little secret that few throw up there, but it will put some monsters in the boat. Throw it up against the bank and keep covering points. Inside and outside grassline, and don't be afraid to throw it on a bright, cloudless day. My two best fish were caught at 2:10 and 3:55pm.

Good luck!
