Fishing at Pewaukee Lake west of Milwaukee mid September and was wondering if any one has any tips for this lake.

    You have a tournament on Pewaukee?  :-/  Of all the great bass lakes around... anyhow... plan for it to be very crowded with people trolling for musky.  This is a top 5 musky lake in WI and is always very crowded.

    I know, went last Sat to try and prefish, got a 40" muskie on the first cast with a jig & pig. One small bass about 2 hours later and that was it, left about 2hours later. Although I did get some blowups on frogs, the fish would not commit! :'( Oh well, the tourney is in 2 days, I will just have 2 fish my but off and hope for the Best. :)
