Me and a buddy are headed up there this weekend. Niether have been there and was wondering if there was any info out about this lake. If you don't want to make it public that is fine. Just looking for any info 3 hour drive and don't want to get skunked. :-[

If you put in at Oak Cove go south under the bridge and fish the humps on your left above the dam. They are easy to find on a map and just as easy to find on the water. fish the cuts and outer edges out toward the deeper water.

Or, you can do like a ton do and go to Grape Creek.

Fishingfordollars,

Thanks for the info. We made the wet drive up there Saturday and let me tell you it was wet all day long I think I am still wet. There is not a rain suit made to keep you dry that long. That lake has a few trees in it. the water is low to the point that the boat house have none under them for people to drop their boats in. I managed a limit and with the wind and rain I didn't move around to much because everywhere I looked I saw trees and didn't know the boat lanes whe had 18-19 pounds for our best five. So for my first time there I was pretty happy with the result under the conditions.

I know about the rain. I was in Arlington Saturday and Sunday. They got a little over 8 inches at my daughter's home. Thankfully I was not on the water. congratulations on the sack of fish. You earned it.
