FLW on Falcon-The guys were rescued from the Mexico side

After all the turmoil on thursday all boaters are back on US soil safely. It took an illegal entry into Mexico during the night to rescue them though. Not all boats were recovered. D and D rescue boat was beached in a cove around the point in calm waters. They left it to retrieve the stranded boaters, when they returned the rescue boat was gone leaving the rescue party and the boaters stranded on Mexican soil. Everyone is back safe though. Although without several boats. The stories being printed about armed robbery are not true. All was due to the weather.

Reminder, even though you have the required boat permits to enter Mexico you are required to have a passport in possession if you leave the boat and step out on Mexican soil. Good idea to put it in the boat with you just in case.

FLW should have never turned these guys loose Thursday morning. They were aware that it(The weather front) had passed through San Antonio at around 6:00am and was bearing down on them. Bad call by FLW. JMO.

10-13 foot waves depending on who you talked to. I was not there, but anything over five foot and I'm looking for a place to hide. Reports of one motor breaking loose from the back of one boat and going to the bottom. Several abonded the boats and swam to shore. Whatever the real story was I'm glad I was not out on the lake.
