Got to fish Lake Fork for about 6 hours. The water temperature in Glade was 49 to 54degrees. We were able to get a few bites and boated a nice under Bass (2 1/2 lb) on a shad colored Rapala X-Rap. Later in the day we caught a 21" 8+pounder on a black and blue jig with black and blue trailer. The bites were surprisingly strong for the water temp. We got most bites on wood with only a few in the grass. Glade is one of the first spots on Fork to warm so we had lots of company while fishing. We did see a few other bass caught but with the weather warming I suspect the prespawners will be moving up to beds soon. We tried the old standby of Red Rattletrap in the grass but never got a bite on it.

you always know when glades is hot because it looks like a crowded parking lot of boats! done good there though when it was that crowded, tons of grass through there. 

Have you ever went past the entrance of glades and had any good luck, we were thinking about trying up farther this year but not sure?

I have not fished that side of Glade but will be back there for about 2 weeks starting the end of the month. Will let you know.
