Featured Replies

I have been fishing at Belva Deer, Segema, and a couple times at Keoma.  I am going to try to hit Rathbun a few times this year.

Waterloo here. Mostly fish around Dunkerton/Waverly though.

Winterset here, I fish West Osceola, 3 Mile, Mozingo(Maryville Mo) the most.  I also hit dozens of farm ponds and small public electric only lakes...

I live in Urbandale, and I fish all over Central Iowa. I fish with the Hawkeye Bass Anglers out of Des Moines and I also fish the Monday night bass tournaments at Badger Creek and the Wednesday night Big Bass Tournaments at West Lake Osceola.

Jon,  I have been thinking about getting to badger creek but I don't want to drag my boat on the gravel.  Is there a paved road that runs to it?

Iowa guy here. Cedar Rapids to be exact.

Primarily fish McBride and Pleasant Creek.  Hit up a few lakes this winter that I will definitely be giving a shot this open water season.

I live over by Fort Dodge, I usually fish my inlaws farm pond down around Tama, and I have hit the river there too. Soon as the flooding decides its done I'm gonna hit Brushy, the river in fort dodge, and some Badger lake or another north of Fort DOdge.

Sorry Brushhog, Gravel is the only way to get to Badger Creek. A boat cover or recent rain helps keep the dust down. You may want to put your electronics in the cab of the truck with you to keep the dust from scratching up the screens. I personally have an aluminum boat but there are alot of guys who fish out of nice fiberglass boats out there. The Monday night tournaments will start May 3rd.
