ANYONE GOT A REPORT ON BIG SAM, WATER TEMP. OR SEEING ANY BIG FEMALES ON BEDS YET. AM GOING THIS WEEKEND AND WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP. 8-)

Won a tournament Saturday. Fish were on the points in 2' of water on a white spinnerbait (3/8). They would not, i repeat, would not touch a plastic. That's from everyone at weighin. I could not get a bite on it either. Fished up Ayish Bayou out of San Augustine Park. Saw tons of beds with not one fish on them. They are pretty much done up lake. Not one fish with eggs weighed by anyone.

Caught my two best fish back to back at 8:10am, off a point. Next keeper came at 9:05, fourth at 12:03, and number five at 3:03pm.

Big females on beds happened about three weeks ago and the last full moon. You have missed most. there are still a few way down lake, but they are basically done.
