We are planning on going up on April 18th, I expect pre spawn fishing. Has anyone been there lately,  any tips on what may work?

my dad went there saturday and said it was almost the muddiest hes ever seen it and didnt fish long.  if rains keep holding off here it should clear up nice.  I dont know if your on facebook or not but cannon dam general store has a page on there with updates quite a bit.

It may rain later this week, we are leaving Sunday night. Looks like folks have caught some large mouths,  we'll see. Thanks for the facebook info, much appreciated!

Haven't heard reports from this weekend yet, but the guys I know haven't done squat w bass.

Was out there 2 weekends ago - (4/3).  Cold front and big rain the prior night killed us.  The lake was nothing but chocolate milk and we had to be the only 2 on it going for bass.  Everyone else was smarter and going for crappie.
