Looking for some fishing friends in WI

Featured Replies

Just moved to Madison recently, don't know many people at all and don't have a boat yet  >:D.  Looking for anyone in the area who would want a fishing partner, I'm willing to drive 1-2 hours for a day trip... Just want to get out and fish.

There is one or two members that are in the Madison area, but you might want to check with CWB, his cabin lake is around the state line where I-94 goes into IL.  I am from just east of Wausau but unfortunately not able to get out much this year.  I'll give Ken (CWB) a shout and tell him to look you up.  He's a great guy and has some awesome LMB fishing where he is.  You should be able to make his cabin in about 1 1/2-2 hrs.  For some of the pics he has posted, it would be worth the trip.

Yeah I have no issues making a day trip out of it.

Fishing solo has it's place, but it would be nice to meet some people with a common interest.

Koop, this is the same dude I met a couple years back at the tenny locks?

Koop,

My name is Nick Olson.  I'm the founder of Reel Good Guide store.  We are the ones that just began advertising on this site for The World's Best Bass Frog.  I'm from just west of the Dells.  Did you say you are apart of the UW fishing team? I will be exhibiting down this weekend at the Madision Fishing Expo.  Come by if you have time.  We could arrange a bass fishing day this summer on the Madision chain.

Nick
