making your own plastic worms?

Featured Replies

is it possible if you get a mold for worms that if you melt ripped plastics from other companies and remake worms or do you need to start from scratch?

I do this to this day.  It is possible. I got started on it when I visited tackleunderground.com . Check out that website and ask around or visit the tacklemaking forum here. Just make sure that you use the same colored worm when melting them unless you want black.  In that case just add a few drops of plastic coloring available from a few retailers and stir.  then pour the plastic. Have a good vent around though especially with powerbaits as most plastics really smoke when they are remelted.  NEVER BREATHE IN THE SMOKE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did that once by accident and ended up in the hostpital.

I also have remelted plastics.

I sent you a Pm Message.
