im very surprised not to have gotton any respones

ok i found some lakes that i know are public. if i can just get some opinions on which ones are best?

white deer lake

greeley lake

pecks pond

promised land

fairview lake

tobyhanna lake

gouldsboro lake

mauch chunk lake

beltsville lake

For that general area regarding bass fishing, I would consider:  Fairview Lake (unlimited HP), Tobyhanna Lake (Electric), Promised Land Lake (electric).

I have fished a lot of those lakes. I have a cabin on Promised Land Lake. If you are looking to catch loads of fish go with Promised Land. The size isn't there yet, but it is getting better over the years. It is a shallow lake deepest about 10 feet at the dam. I personally don't like Peck's pond, but there are some good size fish in there (pickerel/bass). Beltzville is a bit of a drive from canadensis. If you are looking for bigger water look into Fairview or even Lake Wallenpaupack. If you plan on fishing Beltzville shoot me a PM I will help you with some community holes. I can help you with Promised Land, but the majority of the fish are scattered.
