I just need help with what kinds of bait/lures work best up there.  Heading that way for vacation and would like to invite some for dinner!!!  Any ideas? ::o

senko's, t-rigged worms, topwater, jigs, and spinnerbaits are the best performers for me right now. hope this helps

I live in northern NH and by far the most effective bait I use is a Senko rigged wacky I also throw a power worm rigged texas style alot... These are what I throw most. Hope it works for you      Good Luck

Carolina rigged lizards do the job, poppers have also been very succesful for me the past few weeks. Good luck were in nh are u going?

I forgot to add the part about going to Locke Lake.  And Thanks so much for all the ideas,  more ideas welcome too. ;D

Are you renting a place there? It's a man made lake and the water is very murky and shallow. They tell me it's not very good for fishing. I've never fished it before because there's no public boat launch. You have to be a Locke lake association member. If you have a boat, you'll be better off fishing Suncook lake or Barnstead Parade dam. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip. We have stayed on Suncook before and loved it,  We were just looking for something new.  At least we can check it out on our Kayaks.  We will probably try fishing it anyway and see what happens.  Thanks again,

Rose

Hey dunnr40, just curious how Locke Lake was for fishing? I was on Suncook at 4:00 a.m. this morning and had a great day. I caught most of my bass before 6:00 a.m........................left the water around 10 and called it a day.
