Anybody fishing Lum's Pond in Delaware?

Featured Replies

I am in serious need of some help! I only have access to a couple of ponds, my primary one is Lum's Pond State Park. I also fish Beck's Pond in Delaware occasionally too. I fish from a boat, usually somewhere between 9:00am and 4:00 pm. Today I stayed out until 6:00 pm or so. Water temps today were about 88 degrees. This is really my first season doing any serious fresh water fishing.

Anyway...I can't seem to catch a darn thing most days. I have read the State Park's website and it indicates that this pond is heavily pressured so maybe it's not me? I have tried crankbaits, topwaters, spinners, buzz baits, and some plastics. (Though I don't think I am a very good fisherman with worms, I lack the patience I think is necessary.) I would love to hear from some experienced anglers out there how well they do in this pond...just to get me calibrated in my own mind.
