How has Lake Wawasee been treating everyone lately? I am going there tomorrow and it will be the first time there this year. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We have a cottage on Lake Wawasee.  I just got into fishing so I've not been fishing there yet, but our family does lots of ice fishing in the winter.  Great fishing too during other times.  Go during the week - it is empty.  One weekday we literally had the whole lake to ourselves.

Other advice is to use a big pontoon boat as it gets choppy.

I can't WAIT to get up there and fish!!!!!  

I never go up there unless it is on a wednesday or thursday. We had a really good day, landed 25 fish in 5 hours. all on deep weedlines with cranks.

Going back out on thursday, hopefully i will have another great day.

My brother lives in Warsaw and fishes all of the local lakes up there.  He mainly fishes for walleye in the Spring, Fall, and Winter.  He will sometimes fish for panfish through the ice as well.
