We are getting the chance to fish a big stip pit in Southern IL this weekend...the last time I posted about this was in the spring the we had a terrible cold front with chance of flurries...The weather looks much better this weekend with cloudcover and only a small chance of rain.... anyone been fishing strip pits lately? any advice as always would be much appreciated.....darren

    they are in the marion crap orchard area.. my buddies father owns a bunch of ground down there.....
