Hey everyone, I just became a member at Penn Warner and need a little help.

For those who dont know, Penn Warner is kind of like a country club (Golf) but for fishing and hunting.

Anyway this lake is pretty awesome I've been hearing about it for years and finally decided to spend the money and join. So here's the prob. I dont own a boat so I troop it all over the lake and was wondering if anyone here has fished this lake and know where a couple of sweet spots may be.

i have never fished penn warner but i have heard about it also..i wanted to get a trial membership b4 i actually joined but they never got back to me via email.. and why dont u have a boat for such a large body of water? iam thinking of selling my 95 16'6 deep v tracker with 60 hp motor , fish finder and other goodies.  if ya might be intrested let me know..and let me know if they offer any kind of trial membership.

Woah totally forgot about this thread lol...  The lake is great took me a couple of trips to really find the hot spots from the shore but once found these hot spot are hot (If that makes sense).  I to was thinking about getting a trail membership but they dont have one so I figured, "Hey I'm gonna be getting a boat sometime soon and may as well get used to the lake before I get it."  It's been almost a month now since I started the membership and I'm pretty happy.  Sucks that it cost so much but that price makes sure that it isn't over fished like all of the other local lakes.

I lived in the area my whole life, and always wanted to join that place, lets say it was a dream, well in 2000 I bought a boat and joined, and have been a member since, yes it's pricey but it is worth it, 8 minutes form my house I have 3 lakes I can fish with very good fish in them and a lot of different species as well. I pretty much target Bass, but occasionly go after Pike and carp as well.

My personal best so far which I have now caught 3 fish the same size in Sciver lake and Manor is a 6.10 largemouth and 4.14 small mouth.

My 6.10 was big fish of the year for 06

I think 7+ was the record for 07.

If you do get a boat, be very careful in Manor lake especially if the pads are not up yet

Been a member there for sometime now. I have a lot over in the 200s. It will be fully open on Sunday.
