favorite swim baits

Featured Replies

well being from PA   i dont use those big swimbaits but i do use swimbaits   i actually like the storm wildeye bluegill   great for postspawn bass and big ones

I am really starting to like this Optimum AC plug minnow 7 inch. I have only fished it once and the result was a legit 5 pounder. I'm saying its my favorite because it has the best action I have ever seen on a medium sized swimbait (which is all I use). It is a sick wake bait (which is how I caught my one fish) and maintains the same action about 3-6 inches under.

i have thrown a couple different kinds but my favorite is from a local tackle shop.

Some good beginner baits (One's that you don't need to go and buy a bigbait setup for) are the Mighty minnow and Mission Fish from 3:16.  Both are soft plastic and weedless. Also are reasonably priced.
