Bass Fishing Tips Needed For Fishing Dirty Lakes

Featured Replies

I'm trying to pull some nice bass out of a lake that is right next to me, I do most of my fishing about 30 mins away from Northeast Philly.  I was looking for tips on fishing Lake Luxembourg, and I found that Senkos rigged wacky work good ( Never had any luck with them wacky rigged), and that a shaky head works pretty well.  I went out fishing today and hooked a 5lb bass on a Berkley Shaky Head but  I dont think im setting the hook right.  Does any one have any suggestions, or better lures? Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks!

Colors:Black blue, Junebug, Chartruese

Jigs

Spinner baits (slow rolled this time of year)

Crank baits

Paddle tails

Wake Baits :)

Dark water=dark lures, clear water=natural lures.

I like a Midnight special pinner bait by strike king, or any dark colored colorado blade spinnerbait

A black jig with rattles with black trailer

A texas style black worm with Gamblers rattle bullet weights

Basically you need noise and a dark siloutte

Good Luck!
