Ive been going out on the hudson for a little over a year now and have never had a real good day..does anyone have tips for baits or good types of places to fish??

    You should be out there now the Stripers are running!! Get yourself a 8' heavy action spining rod with a bait runner reel. You'll also need a rod set up with a Sabiki rig to catch the herring. Ill be fishing for them this weekend up here in Albany/Troy cant wait. BIG HAWGS!
