Anyone in the metro detroit area?

Featured Replies

I don't know any places other than metro beach to fish at by me, and there are toooo many people there and not enough fish to go around.

Any one got any spots that are holding bass?

If you head down south or even east little there's a few lakes around.

If you decide to come to Wayne county let me know.We have a few lakes and river system as well.

I'm from Shelby Township and usually head towards the lakes in Pontiac. There are quite a few out there. You may want to try Stoney Creek or Lake Orion too.

Oakland county is full of great fishing lakes.  Holly Recreational park has three great lakes all under 75 acres with shore access or small boats.  Lake Orion has some TOADS in it as does Lakeville.

I would grab a southwest Michigan lake map from any local sporting goods store.  It should give you all the lakes you can handle with hotspots for each lake.

Although, you really can't beat the fishing at St. Clair??  Are you fishing from shore?
