Hey all,

Now that it seems to be post spawn whats everyone going twords when you dive in that tackle box. type? color preferance?

I have been having great luck with senko's mainly darker colors or white.

Just picked up a few different colors of slug-o;s so im dying to try them out.

I like fishing around the deeper areas close to the spawning flats. Usually I'll start with a rattle trap, chatterbait, or crankbait, searching for a concentration of fish. Once I find a few, I'll drop a couple bouys and fish the area with a dropshot. I don't think a fish has ever seen a roboworm on a dropshot rig and not eaten it :-)

Usually once I find them at a certain depth, most of the fish will be at a similar depth. Of course, you can always catch some fish shallow as well.

I love my 6 or 7 inch worms texas or wacky in Junebug. Been killing them on that all year.

so far only thing really producing consitently is the good ole senko.  got a few on spinnerbaits, but nothing to brag about.  I've tried a different assortment of lizards, kreatures, worms, spinners, usually come up empty and go back to the senko, and then start killing em.
