Bad Day At Black Rock!

Actually a very sad day. Yesterday was the first in a 45 day shutdown of all private boats on the Quabbin Reservoir in MA. This, due to the possibility of a zebra muscle contamination. During this 45 day period, they will determine if it exists or if the water conditions would support this invasive species.

Since the reservoir is Boston's main water supply, the fear is for the clogging of their filtration systems. We may lose our privileges to fish this fine body of water forever.

Figured some of you, who may travel to this fine body of water, from time to time, might want to know.
