Hey guys I'm heading up to old orchard beach in maine the weekend of the 15th to do some striper fishing but I haven't fished for stripers in years and I was wondering what you guys have luck with, any tips would be appreciated.

Do you need a saltwater license in maine?

I don't believe you do for saltwater, I got this quote off the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, "Saltwater angling licenses are not required for recreational saltwater angling" That was the first sentence in the third paragraph under saltwater fishing information.
