I just spent the weekend and a buddies vacation home on this lake and didn't boat a single fish.  Now, fishing wasn't by any means the focus of this trip, as I was the only fisherman there.  But in the couple hours I spent in the kayak throwing senkos along weed lines and isolated structure, I expected to at least get 1 bass in the boat.  

Anyhow we might go back on labor day so i was hoping someone can give me a hint or two so next time maybe I can boat a bass.

This has never been knonw as a good bass lake...or decent. It is usually mentioned with the word pickerel. I did win a tourney there though, back in the late 80's. I had a limit which blew everyones mind as that had never happened before, and we never went back again.

But for what it is worth, I threw a white spinnerbait. All the fish came off the weedy flat in the middle of the back side of the lake. I think it was refered to as the ski area. It was 20 years ago and I was only there once.
