Anyone fish Middle River in MD?

Featured Replies

I have a tournament in two weeks on the Middle River and I have never fished there before. I am going to head up there on Saturday and pre-fish. Does anyone have any advice? I fish the tidal Potomac a lot, are they similar? What lures and colors are working in the fall? If you don't want to publish your advice PM me and rest assured I won't tell everyone your spot/technique. I will only be fishing the middle river once a year (at most) so you won't need to worry about someone stealing your best spot. I am happy to trade information about the Potomac as well.

Thanks!

EDIT: I will be launching from Wilson Point Park.

I am not familiar with the river other than having heard of it. Although the colors i have been doing well with here in maryland so far are white spinners, black and blue spinners, and any crankbait you have. I know its not helpful for your situation but i figured i would try and help out a fellow maryland fisher.
