I am a backwater guy from Florida, fishing Tripp lake in ME. On Vacation with the Kids. Any Suggestions on bait or lures?

    Use a keel weighted Rage Craw (Falcon Lake Craw color), and prepare for some serious smallmouth action!

    I agree with Shane, at least something weighted and a little deeper water. As far as I know, that's a relatively shallow body of water. 40-ish feet at it's max. I'm guessing there is also shad, so a white or chartreuse spinner bait with double Colorado or Willow bladed will also work well earlier and later in the day. I wish you the best of luck!
