Took the family to Whaley Lake today. Thought it was going to be a zoo, but it was deserted until around 2 pm. Weather was beautiful. Slight wind, sun and cool until 12 pm. Nothing on worms or jigs in the weeds or on the outside weedlines. Everything was on frogs in the slop. Landed about a dozen bass between 1 and 2 lbs, nothing big, but a lot of fun. Had another 20 or so blowups or missed fish.
