Ice is finally off this week in CT

I have never seen the ice cover last so long as it did this year.  I'm chomping at the bit to go fishing too. I can't wait to wet my line for the first time.  I have to get my license this week and wait for a warm night to go fishing.  I just want to throw some lures out there and break in my new line and get ready for the action.

Ugh! I live on Squantz Pond and there's still some ice floating around, and snow on the grass in places. Suppose to go up to 43* tomorrow!!

I may throw into my local pond tomorrow, it's one of the few around here that is completely ice free. Hoping the sun will get the bass somewhat active in there.
