AnglerNFuego Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 First, I would like to thank Jay for allowing me to join him and his friend this morning at local pond. It was fun and like I said once I saw all the vegetation, I knew there was potential. The key was finding what they would hit. It's been a long time since I caught anything on frogs but it worked and I can only imagine how big of a Lunker is in that pond. Well folks, here are my pictures of the two LMB I caught this morning on Harrison-Hoge Superior Frog Charteuse about 15 minutes apart. Great time and once again thanks Jay! Quote
JCrzy4Bass Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Andy, No prob boss. Tell you what just that one lost fish I had built my confidence up in frogs completely. Before I swore that this pond was spinner central and that's pretty much the only bait other than a senko I'd tie on here. Buat after watching your technique with those frogs and getting a nice bite myself I have built up my confidence completely in another lure and I'm determined to become a decent topwater frog fisherman so can add that specific tool to my arsenal in situations of heavy vegetation like these. Good job this morning dude, we'll do it again soon. Nice lil pond eh??? Just remember this spot is sacred.... lol. NO FISHING PRESSURE at all. And I wanna keep it that way. Good job again boss. LUNKERVILLE BABY!!! Quote
rondef Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Nice Fish Andy, way to work that pond. I tried fishing there and I told Jay the place was not worth my time, I guess I was wrong. Once again nice job. Quote

rondef Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I went to the local pond today and fished for about 1.5 hours. I tried senkos, spinners, top water rapalas and had no luck. I decided to throw my zara spook out and on the second cast, wam an LMB exploded on it and put up a heck of a fight. I pulled it in and attached the picture below, 2.4lb LMB. Quote
